The Hudson - Lionel O Gauge Steam Train Locomotive w/ Tender
This sale features an original O Gauge Hudson type Steam Train Locomotive, made in 1950, by the Lionel Train Co. and theCoal Tender, also produced in 1950, by Lionel Trains. Also included in the sale is the original operating manual and Service guide from 1954-55, both in nice shape.
Included here is the #773 \"Hudson\" Locomotive , in nice \"lightly played with\" condition. All original, it has some general play wear, and some storage dust, but is unbroken and gears are not locked up. There are some surface rubs and nicks in spots from storage, but engine still looks good and displays well (see pics). Paint is in overall very nice shape. There is no structural damage and no rust on the chassis. It features MagnaTraction and original owner said that smoke, headlight and motor all ran fine the last time it was used. Even so, a gentle cleaning is recommended after years of safe storage.
Also included is the #2426W Whistle version Coal Tender, also in \"lightly played with\" condition. Has some storage dirt. Paint is overall nice. Has a little bend in one of the handrails (not bad). Like the loco, it is untested, but worked the last time it was used.
They both display very well and should make great additions to your vintage Lionel Lines locomotive/ train set collectibles.
