Offered in this sale todaywe have thisabsolutely beautiful original fully restored Zenith Ebony colored Bakelite \"DECO\" Model Classic AC/DC AM tube radio from 1950. This is a Stunning Ebony beauty with a 5 tube clean chassis.The stunning cabinet exhibits only a few very minor brush-like scratches barley noticed and a tiny chip on the cabinet top left corner as shown,splitting hairs here! The dial etching is perfect along with the deco knobs most times the dial paint is wiped clean on this model Not this one.The facade has a nice woven outstanding brassy grill!
The rear cover is almost always missing or damaged on this model so we retrofitted a similar zenith version from our bone yard that fits fine!This radio is exhibiting the original Ebony Bakelitefrom the factory with a gorgeous mirror finish! The setPlays the AM band only. No hairlines,deep scratches or deep marring anywhere on the cabinet surface.
The power cord is a modern replacement in the interest of safety, beautiful original working restored condition with strong mellow static free clean TUBE audio and mid century modern design, an excellent collectorfavorite!
