1865 Abraham Lincoln Funeral Stereoview w/Theodore Roosevelt Watching - Original and very rare, 1865, Civil War period stereoview photograph of the funeral procession of President Abraham Lincoln as it moved down Broadway in New York City. Last week, the other version of this stereoview sold on for $2,025.00. I am starting it at $10.00 with and we\'ll see where it goes. This photograph captures an amazing moment in time as the figures of two people can be seen in the third story side windows of the large home featured prominently in the photograph, located at the corner of Broadway and Union Square in New York City. The home was owned by Cornelius Van Schaak Roosevelt and the figures are believed to include the six-and-a-half year old future president Theodore Roosevelt. Two variations of this photograph are known to exist – one with two people on the second floor window and another (this one) with two people at the third floor window. This rare image has the label of E. & H. T. Anthony and was originally published as part of \"Anthony’s Instantaneous Views” series with the title “The Funeral of President Lincoln, New-York, April 25, 1865”. The Photos are mounted on a flat, rounded corner card mount that measures approx. 6 ¾ inches x 3 ½ inches. The Stereoview is a high quality, original Stereoview Image of the period.
