1890\'s J.B. SCHALL OPEN BACK 5 STRING BANJO Mother of Pearl Etched Nickel WALDO For Sale

Hi. I am not a banjo expert, in fact I don\'t know anything at all about them. I did my own research on the internet and I believe that this is an 1890\'s Waldo banjo made by J.B. Schall of Chicago. It has 2 patent dates on it, 91 and 94 as in 1891, 1894. Etched or engraved Nickel and mother of pearl inlay. The pick guards appear to be hand made and were surely added later. The skin is torn as seen in the pictures. Needs to be cleaned and restored. Beautiful. US shipping only. Thanks
