1946 ROCKOLA JUKEBOX 1422 For Sale

This is a real nice circa 1946 Rock-Ola jukebox with impressive Art Deco detailing. The case and front center grill are cherry with fine original finish, the front is in the original bright nickel finish, and original colored plastics. The plastic push buttons are all there and fine, fine interior graphics, the glass panel fine with reverse paint music notes. The interior panels lite by incandescent bulbs. Rotating colorful cylinders behind the side plastic panels.It as all of the original internal parts as far as I can tell. It comes with a full selection of 78 rpm records inside. Measures 29\" wide by 26\" deep by 58-1/2\" tall. Excellent condition overall. The unit was playing beautifully and produces excellent clean sound quality. The mechanism errored and ejects 2 records at once now. I cannot find a service person in my area to make the adjustments needed. I am told that this is a common condition and easily adjusted by someone who knows how. Additionally, the side florescent lights quit lighting at the same time. Likely loose bulb or connection. Everything still rotates and all other lights operate normally. Other than those minor items there is nothing else needed that I know of . It is a beautiful display piece that constantly receives attention whenever anyone enters the room. It looks striking in the house during the holidays with all of the lights active. It also is fun in the \"Mancave\" area of the home too. I am reluctant to sell it however, I have a university school bill to pay for my daughter and some items simply need to go. I will not ship. I will be as helpful as possible with whoever the buyer delegates to pick it up. It is located in the Thousand Oaks Calif area 91360. It is not perfect however, it is as good as you could hope to find for the age and type of item. You will not be disappointed. Being sold as-is.
