Some toys are simply \"works of art\" from the space age of rockets, satellites, saucers and stars!The SPACE PATROL by ICHIKO JAPAN from the 1950\'s has a SPACEMAN DRIVER with a SPACE GUN, who raises his arm and fires with shooting noises while cycling through the friction motor cycle. It measures 8 inches long and is all tin litho...and what spectacular litho indeed!
The windshield on this toy is usually broken or replaced....this one is completely intact with the original window in place. The head on the spaceman is very sharp and clean.Apart from a bit of light scratching to the bottom (they hardly break the paint), this toy is almost unplayed with. This is the nicest one I was able to find in 20 years of upgrading. You WON\'T be disappointed.
