Here is one of the COOLER EARLY Stingray bikes I have seen in a while! Here is a rare original March 1964 SCHWINN \"Super Deluxe\" STINGRAY 20\" BICYCLE! (C4 Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! I picked this one RIGHT OUT of the great city of Chicago! I got it basically just like you see it. Its been in Chi-Town the majority of its life! (its birth city) Best part... its in its original violet/purple paint! Its a RARE color! I love it!

*The bike is in the original and very appealing VIOLET factory painted color. Check out the COOL front springer forks! This one has a double knurled Schwinn S-2 rear rim with a Bendix hub and a chrome Schwinn S-7 front rim The tires hold air. The front is a Schwinn tire and may be original for the bike. The rear is a slightly newer wide 20x2.125 SLICK tire. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, chrome \"AS\" (Arnold Schwinn) seat post clamp, cool purple Stingray seat, (ripped) and much more. ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! It has a its original chainguard with a fresh guard decal. The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes.

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS This one will need a total resto from top to bottom for show or enjoy it just like it is. The paint looks fair for a 45+ year old boys bike! (has chips and scratches wear age etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. The truss rods on the springer look a little tall. It has an incorrect springer bolt. (maybe the springer is not original?, Im guessing it is but you never know) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. The rear has side dents. It has a weird front fender mount. (see pics) The kickstand has a lean. NOT trying to nit pick every little thing on the bike, just like to be honest. (see pics and be your own judge) Have FUN with this one. These bikes almost NEVER come along! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

*This is the earliest Schwinn Stingray I have ever offered! I got it just like you see it! It was dusty and I feel cleaned up nicely! I think it is really cool! I hope you enjoy it!

Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
