Selling a Vox Cougar Bass - c.1967 Cherry RedA great sounding, great looking bass! Awesomehollow-body tone with lots of punch. Surprising tonal flexibility, great low end depth and \"bump\" without losing definition. Great unplugged tone, too -good for late night, in front of the TV practicing! All parts are original to the bass; it is currently strung withflat-wounds for an authentic \'60s sound. Sturdy thin neck, 2x2 headstock w/ big VOX inlay; bass is in good shape for a bass of its age. It will be shipped carefully in its original hardshell case - the case is teardrop-shaped and has a burnt orange interior. Please note that it has a few finish cracks on the body - according totalkbass.com and other sources, this is very common with Vox guitars of this era. They do not extend to the wood and do not effect playability. The frets are in great shape and have lots of life in them.
