One violin (without strings) is marked inside \"antonius stradinarius (with an \"n\", not a \"v\", I dont know if at the time it may or may not have been intended to be \"Stradivarius\", any response appreciated on this)cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17\" with \"conservatory violin\" engraved in wood at tuning keys(top of neck)with small crudely designed crown just above it(please see pic)..likely English, no bridge or strings, neck is loose, where it meets the body needs to be re-glued, surface wear, molding piece at bottom edge missing(see pic), some crack lines, looks very old, measures 24\" end-to-end, body alone is 14\", making it a 4/4.\"Jacobus Stainer in Absam prope Oenipontum 1677\" is printed inside other violin which measures 23&1/2\" long end-to-end, body 14&1/8\"(4/4), better overall condition, nothing loose, no cracking, seam line in back visible at lower region but does not really qualify as a crack, portion of molding at right of neck on top worn away(see pic below description), inside body is a small wood peg that is rattling around loose inside(hard to get out), outside of case has wear, inside is good, comes with extra strings(used and unused), accessories, extra chin rest, more(please see pic below). Two bows are included, each has lost a lot of fiber, and the intact fibers as a whole seem a bit loose, maybe that\'s normal.
