A Bougarabou is the equivalent to an Afro-Cuban Conga. Skinned with Calf skin resulting in warm lower tones. These drums are made ofone-piece construction Mahogany, andmeasure anywhere between 23 - 24 inches tall, with an overall diameters of 13 - 14 inches (including ring and rope hardware), and playing surface diameters of approximately 11 - 11.5 inches. These drums are roped tight with 5mm non-stretch internally braided alpinerope. Each drum comes equipped with a braided handle at the neck of the drum,which can be untied/unraveled and used as tuning rope should the need for Mali Weave tuning arise. We use fedex ground. We do NOT ship to P.O. Box number addresses – We do NOT ship to Military APO Addresses - Fedex will NOT deliver to P.O. Box or Military APO addresses, therefore we need your physical home mailing address. We ONLY ship to the contiguous 48 states of the USA. We do NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, or any other USA territory. Fedex picks up from our location Monday thru Friday at 4pm CST. Generally we ship orders within 24 hours of payment received, but some extenuating circumstances will prevent this from happening including making a purchase after 2pm on Friday, or making a weekend purchase (shipping will have to wait until the following Monday as our Fedex driver does NOT pick up on weekends). Holidays may also interrupt shipping within 24 hours of payment received. Although rare, family emergencies can also present challenges delaying shipping (sometimes life can throw and unexpected curve ball, and your understanding will be appreciated).

Clearing an imported item through Canadian Customs on your behalf takes time and resources for which UPS want to be compensated. UPS bases brokerage fees on the value of the item purchased. Sometimes these fees can be expensive, therefore in the end, it may be more cost conducive for you as a Canadian to purchase this type of product within the boundaries of your own country rather than importing from the USA.
