You are offerding on the40 hp MERCURY outboard boat motor that you see in the pics. This nice, clean motor starts rightup and runs great. This low hourmotor is inlike new conditionand all original with no welds, damage or repairs. The motor is very clean and in excellentshape overall.As you can see under the hood is super clean. All the paint and decalsshine like new. The lower skegand prop are nearly perfect as well.This motor runsextremely well, starts right up, idles nice low and smooth, throttles up with no hesitation, has great power and pumps cooling water well. These 4-stroke fuel injected motors run amazingly smooth and are great on gas. They are super quiet and don\'t smoke and shake like the old 2-strokes.The motor shifts into forward, neutral and reverse smoothly. The shift handle is on the front of the motor and shifts into forward-neutral-reverse smoothly. The power tilt works nice and smooth and does not droop. This is a Wisconsin motor so has never been used in salt water and only seen short summers. The motor is a long shaft (made for a boat with a 20\" transom)tiller operated, 4-stroke, 3 cylinder with ELECTRIC start, power tilt andfuel injection. The state of Wisconsin does not register or title outboard motors, therefore this motor does not have a title. I can issue a bill of sale with the motor which is all you would need to obtain a newone should your state require titles.
