This sale is for a John Deere 950 Diesel four wheel drive tractor. It comes with a factory John Deere front end loader, a John Deere frame mount quick detach backhoe and a trailer to transport the unit.
The four wheel drive tractor has 28 horsepower and has a diesel engine. The tractor starts and runs good. It has been nonprofessionally painted but looks pretty good. Clutch is good as is the pto and three point hitch lift. The brakes work well but do squeak. Has new decals. Has some dings and dents.
The back hoe is a factory JD frame mount unit. It is quick disconnect so it can be quickly removed if you want to use a bush hog or other three point implements.
The loader is also factory JD.It works well.
The farm trailer is a triaxle unit that pulls well. I have pulled it a few hundred miles with no problems. It hasbeen pulled with both a1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup with no issues. The tires don\'t leak but are well worn. I do have a good spare that goes with the trailer. It has fold down ramps on the rear. Some of the boards need replaced. It has lights and brakes but needs some work to wiring. It came from Tenn where titles are not required. I will give a bill of sale for the trailer.
The tractor shows 2215 hours on the meter and I believe it is a 1987 model but don\'t know for sure.This is a handy size tractor and loader. The hoe can be easily removed so that you can use a finish mower, bushhog, post hole digger etc. It has agricultural tires that are in not new but will last for several years. This tractor has an economical diesel engine thatstarts and runs great. Brakes stop the tractor fine but squeak.Lift works fine.It will handle a scrapper blade, bushhog , post hole digger or many other three point hitch implements.The diesel engine has plenty of power but uses very little fuel.The tractor ,loader and backhoe isin better than average condition. The tractor does have dents and dings. I took several high resolution pictures so that you can look it over closely.The size of this tractor along with the implements make it handy around the home\\farm. The diesel engine makes it powerful and economical. The loader and backhoe can be very handy for loading things in trucks and trailers,moving things around the farm, digging water lines, ponds, septic systems, footingsor whatever.
Overall the tractor is in goodcondition but it is not new. I took several pics so that you can look it over and ask any questions you may have. The tractoris used and is sold asis\\whereis with no warranty. You will need to pickup at my home is SW Virginia. If you chose to \"buy it now\" I require a $500 deposit via Paypal at that time. If the sale runs to the end I require the deposit at sale end. The remainder to be paid upon pickup. Only the deposit can be paid via paypal. Personal or bank check is ok with 10 days to clear otherwise cash at pickup. I can store for a few weeks if needed, but need to be paid in full within 10 days. I could \"possibly\" deliver within one hundred miles for an additional cost but that would have to be discussed and agreed upon prior toofferding. You will need to bring chains or straps to bind the tractor for transport. I would recommend a set of magnetic lights for the trailer.
