Nixie tubes once very popular weresuperseded by modern LCD and LED display and are no longer produced. They wereoften used in calculators, measuring devices or first computers between 1950’sand 1970’s. One major advantage of the nixie tube is that it’s cathodes aretypographically designed, shaped for legibility. Unlike modern displays, nixie’seach digit is individually shaped resembling handwriting numerals. Nowadays dueto nixie tubes rarity and charming glow they are readily used to build uniqueclocks which bring attention and interest.

Nixie tubeclock displays time in HH:MM format on 4 IN-12 nixie displays.

Connection of nixie displays withcutting edge electronics constitutes this original and intriguing timepiece.

Tubes are brand new and comes from oldstock (so called NOS).

Offered clock is assembled with theuse of new, high quality parts and tested.

Clock’s case is made from whitepainted wood with transparent acrylic enclosure.
