Thisvery unusual battery poweredJapanese tin lithographedairport tractor and airplanemeasuresabout19 1/2\" or47 cm in total length.The jet itself measures about 11\" or 28 cm in length and has a wingspan of about 10 1/4\" or 26 cm. The tractor is about 8\" or 20 cm in length. With batteries intalled in the clean battery box, the tractor runs forward. While moving, the plane automatically raises and lowers as though it is taking off and landing. While it runs through its actions, all four red plastic jet engines have light bulbs that flash. All of the actions are working well though it is unclear as to how high the plane should fly and I\'ve only ever seen another example that did not work.The plane \"flies\" but not as high as theillustration on the side of the box. There is a fifth wheel on the back of the tractor to control the direction oftravel. The planeis on a pivot andcan be positioned in different directions. The toy is complete, all original and in excellent condition. It comes complete with its colorful original box.
