ANTIQUE FOLK ART- ( 5 ) ODD FELLOWS / MASONIC CEREMONIAL HEAD DRESS - HATS For Sale

ANTIQUE ODD FELLOWS or MASONIC fraternal Ceremonial Hats, Helmets, etc... ca. 1890 - 1920.   You are offerding on a GROUPING OF ( 5 )  Hats/Headdress Pieces.  These are a fresh estate find, and all are old and have been used and worn, so there is normal wear, and some of the sewn seams are loose on the interior, at the area of the leather \" hat banding \", this is very minor and a quick fix with needle and thread ( See pix ).  The overall conditional of all the pieces is EXTREMELY GOOD!!!   The color retention on them is very good as well!  Some have an Embroidered Decorative Detailing using METAL THREADING, and I think some may also have SILK used in there construction.  The Soldier Helmet has a Metal Point and Metal Tacking , One Hat has a long trailing train, One is constructed of what appears to be a Soft Crushed Velvet material, and several pieces are further enhanced with PLUME FEATHERS,  JEWELRY pieces that include RHINESTONES set within Brass Filigree settings.  There are also some labels inside ( maker\'s marks )  that appear to read \"  M. C. LILLEY ( ? ) & CO., Columbus, Ohio \".   I recently sold another grouping of these hats, however, the detail and additional decorative elements on these hats are SUPERIOR to the previous ones I had offered and which sold!  Also, the overall quality of the materials used, and the addition of the extra decorative elements, and outstanding attention to detail in the quality of craftsmanship, make these ( 5 ) pieces OUTSTANDING EXAMPLES of Antique Fraternal Ceremonial Americana!!!   I am new to Selling on and I appreciate your looking and Good Luck with your offerding!   Also, check out my other items.
