Ambrotype Confederate Cavalryman with Sharp\'s Carbine For Sale

This is an original old Civil War era Ambrotype, a photo on glass. It shows a boy probably not more than 15 or 16 years old in uniform holding a carbine and a hat. His uniform appears to be a lighter color, definitely not dark blue, so I assume he is Confederate. He is holding a carbine. I think it is a Sharp\'s, but I am not an expert so it might be another brand. He is holding a hat in his left hand. I can not see any insignia of rank or regiment. There is some scratching in the upper right corner that may be initials and help in identifying this boy. The case measures 3 1/4 inches by 3 11/16 inches. The front of the case is gone. Buyer pays $10.00 packaging and insured priority mailing cost.
