West German Black Forest 30Hour chalet cuckoo clock. The clock has a man sitting on a stump playing a concertina on theleft, and a lady on the right with dancers up above. This clock is in thorn inmy side. The clock has been cleaned, oiled and ticks and chimes, but I cannotadjust to get the chimes and music box etc. to work in the correct sequence. The music is suppose to be An der Schonen blauen (translates to “Onthe Beautiful Blue”), Donau Walzer (translates to Danube Waltz) and BrahmsLullaby , per the label on the back (seephoto).

This cuckoo clock is powered by a 30hour (1 day) brass clock movement. Themovement is marked West-Germany and 477. The clock has the look of E. Schmeckenbecher cuckoo clocks but I did not see anymarkings to confirm that. The clock features the 3 pinecone weights hanging beneaththe clock on brass chains to power the movement. The case of the clock iscrafted in the chalet style and features a dial with roman numerals and noother markings on the dial that I see. The clock is approximately 10 inchestall, 10 inches wide, 5 inched deep with a 2 ¾ inch time ring. Photos weretaken with and without flash. This coo-coo clock isbeing sold for partsor restoration onlybecause I am unable to getthe sequence to work properly and now lack of patients. So will be a great dealfora repairperson who knows what to do......
