Published by London by Natalli and Bond 1860, this two volume set is titled, The Complete Angler or the Contemplative Man\'s Recreation: being a discourse of rivers, fish-ponds, fish, and fishing. This is a second edition and is illustrated throughout with numerous full page plate India Proof engravings, drawings en texte and page decorations. Bound in half brown morocco over marbled boards the top edge of the pages are gilded. The text is taken from the fifth edition of 1676, which was the last revised by Walton, but it also footnotes the text of all four earlier editions. Also included are thorough memoirs and notes of both Walton and Cotton. This is a second Nicolas edition reprinted from Nicolas\'s Pickering edition of 1836, which is considered one of the most beautiful and thorough fishing books ever published. ... There is light wear to the edge of these 7 ½” by 10 ¼” books, but overall they are in wonderful original, complete, clean condition.

Please be aware that UPS will be increasing all shipping rates by 4.9% and this increase is effective as of December 29th, 2014.
UPS is also using a new billing structure which calculates the cost of shipping using Dimensional weight instead of the actual weight of the package. More information about this change can be found on UPS’s website and if you see an increase in the shipping calculator, this is why.
If you find that there is a discrepancy between \'s estimate and your invoiced shipping cost, we apologize. We are currently working closely with to have the calculator provide accurate costs. In the meantime, we are manually and accurately adjusting each invoice after the close of the sale. We assure you that we do not make money on shipping! We also assure you that we properly and professionally pack every item as well as fully insure each package. At the end of each day, any buyer who has paid $5 or more over actual shipping costs, will receive a refund!
Payments:
Payment must be received within 5 days of receiving an invoice. PayPal payments are preferred and if payment, or contact from the buyer, isn\'t received within 5 days, an dispute will be opened. This dispute will be closed within 4 days after being opened and the item will be re-listed. If you have a problem, please call us and we will help you solve it.
If you do not want your item shipped immediately (within 24hrs) please get in contact with us before paying! If you need additional time to pay, if you are interested in combining shipping with other items, or if you are interested in a pick-up or delivery, please contact us before paying. If you pay with Paypal: We can only ship to the address listed on you invoice or on your Paypal payment. If you have a special address that your item needs to be shipped to, it must be reflected in one of these places, or we cannot ship it there. We are not protected by Paypal’s Seller Protection Policy if we ship to an address that is not reflected in or Paypal’s system.

Most freight items are still shipped via UPS Ground, however some are too large and will be shipped via SEKO Worldwide. US Buyers: The shipping calculator on the sale is an estimate and actual charges will be figured at the close of each sale. Our standard method of shipping is UPS ground however, if you prefer USPS this is also an option. Any item that sells for over $250 must be sent with signature required and if you choose USPS, it will be shipped via express mail.
International buyers: Please be aware that you may incur a brokerage and/or customs fee upon delivery. Winning buyer is responsible for shipping & customs charges and we WILL NOT LIE on customs forms. This is illegal and is against ’s policies. All items that sell for over $250 are sent via express mail. If you have questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

Returns:
We give an unconditional money back guarantee so, if you have any problem what so ever, we will gladly accept the item back for a full refund.
If the item was described properly, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping will not be refunded. However, if we made a mistake, we will we refund the full cost, including shipping both ways.
