Antique 19th C Stoneware Decorated Handle 2 Gallon Squat Beehive Jug 11\" For Sale

We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th Century Stoneware Salt Glazed Cobalt Blue Decorated Beehive Shape 2 Gallon Jug. This jug is in Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks, and or repairs. There is some staining and slight manufactured roughness. You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The jug measures 11\" tall x 2 1/2\" at the spout x 10 1/2\" wide x 9 1/8\" at the base and weighs approximately 5lb 7oz. The jugis marked with a 2 with a line at each side of it in cobalt blue and a great unique cobalt blue decoration to the applied handle. There are 2 incised lines that circle the jug just below the 2. A great squat beehive shape to this jug. We believe it might be Southern possiblyfrom Kentucky or somewhere in the Ohio Valley area and dates from the mid to late 1800\'s.
