DESCRIPTION

An antique Berthold Speier and Sohne wood flute with nickel plated fittings, serial number 5986.

Appears tobe made of cocus wood. Apparently manufactured in Germany.

Probably dates to before 1900. Measures 28 inches long. Marked as \'C\' key.

CONDITION

Shows usualsigns of wear, age and usage.

Barrel joint is broken in half with ferrule and one piece missing.

Remaining joints appear to be fairly sound.

Would need corks and pads for restoration.

Case is very worn, leather covering chipped, hinge broken, now in two pieces.
