This listing is for an antique French Limoges porcelain portrait plaque of a young woman picking apples with winged cherubs. The plaque is in a heavy wood and gilt gesso frame; it measures 14 ¼ by 12 ¼ inches or 36 by 31 cm. The plaque features a hand painted landscape with a young woman in a diaphanous purple dress. She stands below a rip and fruitful apple tree, and behind her winged cherubs are collecting apples as well. The place is framed in modern, but appropriate frame which accents the piece nicely.
