Antique Jugtown Ware Ovoid Stoneware Jug~~Older Mark~~Orange Skin Salt Glaze :
$133.25

Awesome little Jugtown Ware stoneware jug is ovoid in shape and perfect in condition! While it has some minor flaws typical to primitive stoneware items, there are amazingly nochips, cracks or damage. See thepictures for some glaze imperfections and firing flaws, but you won\'t find damage....not even along the bottom edge. Stamped onthe neck with a Jugtown Ware mark, this cutie measures 6.75\" high. High looped handle is hand applied, and the pictures will show concentric rings along the shoulder and around the bottom. Gray salt glaze surface has an orange skin effect, and it\'s got a nice, dirty bottom that shows wear and age. Even the neck and lip are in great condition. Amazing to find onein such great condition. Early piece dates to probably the 1920s, judging from the stamp on its neck. Nice nice nice!!!

Shipped within five business days of receiving payment.I hate to sound like a broken record, butPUH LEEZEwait for an invoice. The only way to accurately calculate shipping and insurance is to have a final offer amount, and obviously that doesn\'t happen until the sale ends and I have a final offer amount and the high buyer\'s zip code. Can\'t tell you how many people pay immediately then don\'t want to send the insurance cost....in the month of October, I paid $17 out of pocket for the speedy buyers who won\'t wait...soplease wait for an invoice, which will include delivery confirmation and insurance. I mostly accept Paypal, but if you need other payment options, just let me know. Please read the fine print below---it will explain how I run my sales---but don\'t hesitate to email with any questions if I haven\'t covered them in my \'stuff to read\'.Thanks for looking!

Even though sends a \"pay now\" invitation, please wait for an invoice from me.Please don\'t go by the amount you see in the sale listing...it\'s a estimate only, and a poor one at that. Insurance is calculated after the winning offer is posted. \'s invoices can\'t calculate that cost until after the sale is ended, and their invoices don\'t reflect a discount given with on-line postage printing.I\'ve also had some trouble with invoice delivery...some buyers receive them with no problem, while others have to ask for theirs. I willalwayssend themwithin hours of an sale\'s end, but if you don\'t receive an invoice from me within 24 hours after an sale, it means it was lost in cyberspace andI\'ll need a little heads up from you.

Please take a minute to read my rants and raves...

All of what I sell is old, so buyers should keep in mind that an item might have some imperfections which are normal and characteristic of old stuff. I try to catch every flaw, but I\'m not perfect and can sometimes miss something.I prefer not to take returns, but will always try to work with a high buyer to resolve any issues.I try to start my sales with a reasonable opening offer, and offer free shipping whenever possible.I\'m not a professional, and don\'t pretend to be, so I welcome \"kind\" comments with a smile and get rid of the rest. I don\'t \"fluff\" a description to cover any flaws, as that\'s messing with karma, and we all know thatkarmacan get you at any time. I try to be easy to work with and am honest to a fault, so accusations of \'funny stuff\' will land you a prime spot on my blocked buyers list. I try to give you the lowest shipping rate available, and shipping is combined whenever possible, but I won\'t pack cast iron with pottery, so don\'t even ask!Remember--I have a 5-business day window for shipping, but this is a worst case scenario time frame....I usually will ship within 3 days. If I anticipate a delay, I\'ll let you know.PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE.Shipping discounts are given when labels are printed online, and I can pass along those discounts only if the high buyer waits for my invoice.International offers are welcome, butanything over 4 pounds costs an arm and a leg to ship, so I\'d suggest emailing for shipping charges before you offer.I normally don\'t refundshipping costsfor returned items, but there are exceptions to every rule, and if I find I\'ve screwed up royally, you\'ll get it all back. I don\'t buy new packing material (think RECYCLE), but will be happy to buy new supplies for anybody who wants them--just let me know and I\'ll add the Staples bill to your invoice. I feel I do a good packing job, but have no control over the USPS drop-and-kick method of testing secure packages, so insurance is a gotta-have.And this is so important: IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY PART OF OUR TRANSACTION, PLEASE EMAIL ME SO IT CAN BE RESOLVED BEFORE YOU LEAVE NEGATIVE response!!!To recap: please check the sale descriptions, don\'t pay till you get an invoice, ask questions and email with concerns. I love communication, check my email daily and do my best to address concernsthe same day I get them. Whew! Think that\'s about it.
