Antique Victorian Odd Fellows \"Guard\" Velvet Ceremonial Robe Ward Stilson Co. For Sale

This is an antique Victorian \"Guard\" robe or uniform used during an OddFellowsmeeting or function. It is velvet with embroidered appliques designs on the chest, around the middle, on the cuffs, around the bottom. and the neck. This measures 19\" from armpit to armpit when laying flat. It is 36\" long from the neck to the bottom, and each sleeve is 23 1/2\" long. It is in nice shape withno ripsin the velvet, no snaps missing,and no rips in the lining. A couple small stains on the inside lining only. It is a really dark black velvet and gold and yellow embroidery. the tag inside is from themaker and says The Ward Stilson Co. Mfrs. Society Goods New London, Ohio and above that tag is a sewn in tag that just says \"Guard\".
