Up for your consideration is this original photograph of the 5th Mass Infantry at a Military base in North Carolina on Feb 11, 1918. We see here mounted infantry soldiers as well as a military band. In the background are shelters and military offices. Through our research we were not able to pin point what camp this was but we understand there were many training camps in N.C. at the height of WW1. This original, near 100 year old photograph is in great condition with no damage. It is presented in its original frame with its original glass. This photograph, along with another yard long we have listed, were found stored under the floor boards of a home just north of Boston, MA.
