You areofferding on a 1997 wood-fired bowl by North Carolina master potter Ben Owen III. (It was featured in a 1997 exhibition at BlueSpiral 1 Gallery in Asheville, NC.)

DESCRIPTION: This handsome pot has a strongly turnedfoot ring that supports a beautifully proportioned round-bottomed bowl. The glaze is a classic frogskin green thattook on a stunning smoky black patina on one section of the pot. The bowl has a silky smooth texture thatmakes it as lovely to hold as it is to behold.
This wonderful pot measures 6” d andstands 3 ¼” high at the rim. It is inmint condition- no chips, cracks or repairs- and is signed and dated on theinterior of the foot ring.
