Beautiful French M2 Gas Mask w/Bag ID\'ed to AEF Captain ~Plus~ Photos of Owner:
$689.99

An exceptional specimen of a French M2/M-2 gas mask with bag carrier. Strap ID\'ed to Captain Boddy. There is only one man I could locate to fit the name and rank and he is Captain Edmund C. Boddy of Rochester, New York. He was a surgeon/medical officer (service bio below). I include a few photos of him including one taken in France (included in this lot). The bag is in wonderfully preserved condition complete with a spare eye piece. The mask is solid and appears to be all there but a little stiff from a century of storage in the bag as you might expect. A scarce mask with an AEF history. Please consult scans for condition. Careful packing/shipping is $7.85 anywhereis the continental US. If I am materially off on my shipping estimate, you canexpect a refund of the difference. If you are outside of the US, please checkwith me before you offer on this item to avoid any confusion/disappointment.Payment is expected from winning buyer within five days of invoice. Questionswelcome. Thanks for looking and good luck!
