Beautiful Pair Antique Gorham Sterling Cobalt Blue Glass Insert Vases For Sale

Description:Offered is a beautiful pair of vases fully marked on both with the 20th century hallmark used by Gorham as well as \"Sterling A 466\".

The marks on these pieces lack the addition of cartouche indicating a date which can easily place them from 1933-1941 when it was for a short time discontinued.

Both stand 6\" at their highest point with ruffled tops, rococo design, and monogrammed cartouche reading \"EAJ\".

Each has a cobalt blue glass insert to hold both water and flowers.

Noted: one insert has a chip at the mouth but cannot be seen when inserted into the sterling body. The bodies have a combined weight of 139 grams or 4.46 ozt.

There is some pushing at the base of one making it a bit wobbly.

Not inherently noticeable when in use it can be easily heated and pulled back into place.
