Buescher Tru-Tone Baritone saxophone For Sale

Here is a very rare and special Buescher saxophone. This is a very early Buescher, circa 1914. It plays with a HUGE and RESONANT tone. The intonation is excellent and the action is quick. Overall it plays like a much more modern horn EXCEPT it is only keyed up to Eb. However I used it as my main axe for years because it just sounds so good. It\'s been overhauled by a great tech (about 5 years ago but all pads in great condition), recently adjusted, and includes an Otto Link 6 rubber mouthpiece, Rico H-ligature, and Pro Tec case. That\'s about $500 of extras right there! Whoever gets this horn will be really happy-it\'s a really special instrument that deserves to be in the hands of someone who will play it daily.

In response to questions about the instrument: It is a low Bb horn, pitched at modern A=440 tuning. One buyer asked if it was a short neck or long neck model, this I don\'t know but the intonation is consistent throughout the horn. A great saxophone with a huge resonant tone.
