I have recently purchased a collection of circa 1910 French Haviland & Co Limoges porcelain, imported by George V. Millar & Co of Scranton, PA. They are all marked in green “HAVILAND FRANCE”, along with the importers mark in red. All the pieces will be listed here on over the next couple days and all will be sold with . Please see my other listings for the other pieces of this fine porcelain collection.
This is listing is for a set of 16 tea cups and saucers. The cups measure 1 ¾ inches or 4.4 cm high, and are 3 ¾ inches or 9.5 cm in diameter at the top rim. The saucers measure 5 ½ inches or 14 cm in diameter. The saucers have a scalloped edge enhanced with heavy applied gold highlights and a slightly raised design in the porcelain. The pieces have a high glaze white background with a garland of pink roses and buds on a trailing green vine, and accented with large and small floral bouquets. At the center is an entwined wreath of roses.
The cups and saucers are in excellent age appropriate condition. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
