CIVIL WAR TINTYPE Photograph Union Soldier Infantry w/Rifle Gun Hardee Hat For Sale

Two Civil War photographs. 1860’s ninth-plate portrait of a young soldier holding a rifle, handgun and wearing a Hardee hat. The image is clear with nice detail. The patriotic gold matte inside the case is decorated with flags, drum, cannon, ribbons and the words; “THE UNION NOW AND FOREVER”. Inside of case measures 2\'\' by 2-1/2\'\' and outside of case measures 2-3/8\'\' by 2-7/8\'\'. It is in good condition but the velvet on the inside front cover is faded and the case has come apart as seen. Also included is a sixth plate tintype that was with the soldier. Believe it may be the same person (but older) or a relative of the young man. It has no case cover and has a rainbow streak effect going through the top of his head.
