Chub/Montague Vintage Bamboo Fly Rod 9’ 3/2
Please inspect ALL photos furnished.
Rod comes with 3 sections plus an extra tip piece, note one tip down however does not seem to hinder the performance of the action, remaining sections are correct and equal length. Comes with Navy Blue Velvet wood-formed nesting holder.
All of thenickel silver ferrule have a distinct audible “POP” when broke down. Agate stripping guide and 1 tip-top. Cork grip is in wonderful condition, soiling from age. Rod is very straight when together, both tip sections. All silk wraps including intermediates are in great condition. Varnish is in wonderful shape.
This was recently acquired as seen in photosat an Estate Sale from a avid Bamboo Collector.
