Double Armed Confederate Ambrotype Ninth Plate For Sale

This is a classic double armed (with gear), Confederate ninth plate ambrotype. He has green tinted piping that may have possibly been intended to be blue Infantry piping. The last scans show the back of the image so is less clear because it is the back side. Also a scan of the inside of the case. I have put in a piece of black backing as needed to bring out the clearity of the ambrotype, (but not shown in scans). Comes in a half case.

Here is what I know about it. The woman I bought it from is from Georgia. She inherited it from her Great Aunt whossaid his last name wasAustin and that he was a Georgia Confederate and was related to Austin of the Alamo. I am just repeating verbatim what was told to me. I really hate to let this piece go, but I am needing to pay bills. Yet still am willing to have this go to trade for anyone that has a legit Civil War frock coat or jacket. (Am open to outright buying possibly also). All of this would of course have to be pre agreed upon.
