This listing is for a set of 6 English sterling silver and porcelain demitasse cups and saucers with fitted case. The cups measure 2 ½ inches or 6.5 cm high to the top rim, and the saucers are 4 ¼ inches or 11 cm in diameter. The silver weighs 143.7 grams or 4.63 troy ounces. The silver cup holders have an open work body which holds the porcelain inserts. This open work silver has scrolling arabesques and floral motif. The porcelain cups and saucers are white with heavy applied gold on the top rims and are further enhanced with an applied colorful floral design. The silver is marked “A&N CSL” along with “925” and the letter “M”. The porcelain cup inserts and saucers are marked on the bottom “CAULDON LTD ENGLAND” along with decorators marks in gold. The hard case is lined with white satin and has hinges at the back and a locking clasp at the front. The set is in excellent condition.
