FINE ANTIQUE 18TH CENTURY HAND-WROUGHT IRON TWO-PART HEARTH TRAMMEL For Sale

This antique hearth trammel is a fine example of an 18th century trammel of hand-wrought iron. The saw-toothed form allows the trammel to be adjusted for the desired height of a vessel above the fire.
The trammel adjusts from 46 1/2\" to 54 1/2\" high. It is in very good condition overall. There is a some rust in spots, but nothing major, leaving the decision to clean or polish it up to the buyer. This lovely trammel is beautifully made, and has the best patina.
