60\'s Fender Showman Amp – I bought this amp used in the mid seventies. I\'m uncertain as to the year of manufacture. It was my main amp for many years.
Good and/or bad – in my Ripley Guitars days when I was working with Van Halen and Ry Cooder, I had a great guy named Kevin Nelson add an overdrive preamp stage. You can Google \"Kevin Nelson amplifiers\" and check him out. I haven\'t talked to him since those days (though I\'m trying to make contact now). I\'ve saved the \"back\" piece all these years and it is included - but because of the extra mod-knobs, it doesn\'t fit.Check out the pictures to see what I mean.Also, Kevin put one of his stickers by themain logo which,after almost 30 years, was difficult to remove. I got off most of it. Some scratches in that spot. Check out the pictures to see what I mean. Otherwise, it\'s in pretty great shape.
One of two people should have this amp: 1. Somebody that wants a great hot rod Fender - or 2. Somebody who can return it to stock.

I haven\'t been able to find time to record the promised demo - but I plan to today. So check youtube as instructed above this evening (Wednesday) and it should show up.

If the buyer wants to return it to stock, it\'s all there. If the buyer wants to use it with the overdrive channel, Kevin has volunteered to go through it and make it rock for a less than normal fee. We\'ll pay to ship it to and from Kevin if the buyer wants to do that. Seems like a good idea - unless returning it to stock is the goal - and then it makes no difference. In any case, it is - at its heart - ready willing and able.
