1. Remove the spool using the small knurled nut on the centre of the spool.
2. Remove the hexagonal roller bearing retaining clip. (Being carful not to lose).
3. Remove the roller bearing - (remembering which way it came out!!) - the onlytime inwhich it may take a little longer is if the bearing is tight\'sh in the housing..ifthis is the case just remove the spool retaining cap and use the flat head type of a nail and gently knock the bottom roller bearing out...this will add an extra minute or soto the process)
4. Turn roller bearing 180 degrees through its axis and replace.
5. Reassemble reel.
