Keller (Covered Grade) 8-ply Drum Shell 14\" x 14\" (dia) For Sale

Inventory over-stock sale item: These American made8 ply drum shells are hand-crafted from custom-molded North American Rock Hard Maple. This shell is 14\" tall x 14\" in diameter.This shell is considered \"Covered Grade\" and would be recommendedforwrapped or opaque painteddrum applications only.Once you receive your shell you may determine that a natural finish is possible, especially if you are cutting it down.

This shell has been designated as covered grade for one or more of the following conditions:

1. The shell has an outerply that has been splice-joined, features off color woodor inconsistent grain patterns, mineral/sugar streaks, insect marksoran event that may have occurredduringmanufacturing that is aesthetic in nature.
2. Some of the above mentioned issues may be visible through clear or light colored stains or dyes. Therefore, we recommend these shells be wrapped or painted solid/opaque colors. (Many companies useCovered Grade shells regularly for high volume shells or sets that are wrapped.)
3. The seam is within specification and filled but may not be completely closed.

These shells are round and structurally sound. The above listed (possible) defects are aesthetic only andshould have no effect on the sound or performance.

This is a new drum shell with no holes, hardware, bearing edges or rings.

Bearing edges are nowavailable for an additional charge. This charge is based on the diameter of the shell. We do not offer snare beds,drill holes or any other machining, wrapping or finishing services. We can drop ship directly tothe custom builder or drum shop of your choiceif needed.

If you decide to have bearing edges, please contact us prior to paying and we will send you an updated invoice amount that includes the cost for edges. We can cut it down for you if needed fora $7 cut charge. Please contact us prior to paying if you need it cut down.

Shipping Note: If you wish to purchase more than one of our shells we will be happy to combine shipping.Many shells of different diameterscan oftenbe nested inside one another and packed into the same box for nearly the same price as the largest shell being ordered. To do this, purchase the shells of your choice and request a combined invoice. We will calculate the shipping for you and send you a single invoice.

Please Note: It may not be possible to ship multiple shells of the same diameter in the same box due to size restrictions or without compromising the structural integrity of the package. Please feel free to ask before you purchase if you are unsure.
