These high impact plastic black powder tubes are perfect for the avid muzzle loader enthusiast. Each tube holds up to 110 grains of powder (by volume) and measures just 13mm wide at the mouth (Outside Diameter) and 100mm long. This means that with a .50 caliber, a funnel will not even be needed as the tube is so close to the size of the bore. Just tilt your trusty rifle and pour it right in! They fit extremely securely, they can literally be thrown full force into a wall and the cap will not come off. This means that carrying them in a jeans pocket is entirely safe, with no danger of spillage.The corks are secure enough that you can actually drill a hole in them and wear a spare powder charge around your neck while hunting. They fit great in .38 ammo belts or bandoliers.The tubes are also rugged, more rugged than a lot of the cheaper tubes you may find around , the plastic is hard yet flexible so that it will NOT easily crack as demonstrated in the picture where I deform a tube with a rock on some concrete and it returns to its original shape with only slight discoloration. They CAN be broken but I had to bend one into a U shape and then twist it to get it to snap. That’s an acceptable tolerance to breaking in my book ;) Tubes are easily marked with a sharpie if you\'d like to label different loads.Have all your powder charges ready before shooting and don’t waste any valuable shooting time pouring and measuring. Do it beforehand then, Dump it down, toss it ,load your round sabot or mini ball and retrieve the tube off the ground later.Unlike threaded speed loaders which can (and will) get powder in the threads, the malleable plastic corks prevent this and enable you to easily open them one handed with your teeth while holding your long gun.No fiddling with funnels for larger calibers, pour your powder directly down the barrel. I can do it with my .45 without a funnel though a funnel is recommended for smaller bores. With a .50 or larger your all set!
