Large Rare Vintage 1920\"s Black Forest Cuckoo Clock With Bone Hands For Sale

This is one of my grandfatherscollectibles, its a Large rare 1920\'s handcarved Cuckoo Clock from the black forest. Its the older style deep colored hard wood. it has the nailed on numbers and the bone hands. The cuckoo bird is all wood and has the flapping wings when he sounds the hour and half hour.It is powered by two heavy cast ironpine-coneweights and the German movement has been serviced. Its rare that you can find one that is still running and this runs good. the chains are the old brass type, the cuckoo tubes are original so you hear the same sound as they did in the 1920\'s. New bellow caps had to be installed, the original were dust. The clock decorations has some repairs and they were done well and because clock is old style dark wood there not easy to see.Please keep in mind that antique clocks are not new these time pieces have signs of age and that makes them distinctive and rustic from there era.and has the look of time. its hard to find nice clocks like this anymore. This has been running over a month now.The clock measures 19\'\' top of leaf to bottom of leaf and approx 13\'\' wide. As with all my clocks I will supply setup instructions and other informative reading information. The clock weights are heavy and the package will be large I have to ship priority so its not out on the road long. I will include insurance also.
