Magnificent Civil War quarter plate tintype of a handsome double armed sergeant major. He holds his 49 Colt pocket upside down by the barrel in one hand while cradling his sword in the other. He wears a kepi crowned with rain cover, 4-button sack coat and sword belt plate with sash. A wonderfully crisp clear image!
