TL12 Mahogany jambe drum, \'Gareng the Joker\'
The warm grain of mahogany brings its beauty to this Balinese jambe or djembe drum. Khoirul Anam crafts a classic design that depicts Gareng, son of Semar, the most powerful deity of the wayang puppet theater. Gareng is a comic character who makes puns. The instrument is crowned with a white goatskin drumhead, attached with black and white nylon cords that contrast beautifully with the base.
