Here is the sought after Marx Prewar Army Supply TrainfromSteve\'s Train City in Minnesota.This is Marx batch just purchased fromJerry who received this set as a youngster.The finish is generally good with nicks and rubsbut some of the lithograph is worn and there are flaws which are detailed further in the description. Included in this set is a #500 0-4-0 Locomotive which is non-running and missing some gears. There is a rub off spot on one side. Also included is a #500 Tender; #561M Searchlight with a Red Handle and lens, needs rewiring; #572 Field Gun Car missing the gun and a #558M illuminated Observation Official Car with Brass End Railing, missinga swipe of lithograph on one side. Marx Army trainshave a lot of that old time nostalgia. One old geezer that saw the set on Saturday couldn\'t keep his hands off it. Marx Military items just have that effect on collectors. Look at the quality in the pictures and consideritthis week. We are listing it reasonable and without a reserve.
