A19th Century majolica palissy plate decorated with a snake, a large toad , frog and various insects , including a largelarvae or maggot. Typicalgreen shredded clay background. Brown and cream underside. In good condition with no restoration, some slight losses to shredded clay and a chip to the base rim. . Good 19th Century piece well modelled and good detail . Large size Approx 12\" diameter and weighing approx. 3kg.
