The opening is 8\" across...9 1/2\" across total at its widest point. Done up in what we believe to be a Chinese Blue glaze. At the top near one of the handles there is a visible crack. The crack measures 4\" across if you hold a tape measure around the rim and is a v shape extending down 1\" at the deepest. It is visible on the inside and outside of the rim...see the last two pictures. There is expected wear to the base as shown. A gorgeous example. Unfortunately not perfect.
