1918 North Dakota Photo AlbumFrom what I can gather this album, with over 80 pages of snapshots, chronicles the 1917-1918 school year of three young female teachers in Ryder, North Dakota. The majestic Blue Hill School was completed earlier that year and sits surrounded by bare dirt and miles and miles of treeless prairie. The young photographer\'s boyfriend or husband is off at boot camp and she includes many photos of him and his friends.Many fun snapshots of Model T cars, children, farming, animals, school life, a horse drawn school bus sleigh, snow, soldiers, Native Americans, a train station, hot air balloons and people having fun. A piece of history made by a young woman with a sense of humor. Measures about 9\" wide x 6\" tall. 82 pages with pictures on them. Some photos missing and a few loose ones.The front page says it best: \"Lest we forget... Pleasant incidents and dear faces and scenes of bygone days.\"
