Carved Jade Medallion

2 1/4" in diameter

Fresh from an estate we are offering an old pale green jade medallion, prayer wheel, disc.

The piece appears to have been mounted as a lamp finial at some point. The mounting is now broken so the medallion would need to be remounted as finial or pendant if you choose.

Nicely carved, the pale celadon jade plaque features pierced openwork encircling an interior carved rotating pierced disc.

.It is in overall good condition with normal wear that you see in estate pieces. The interior disc spins freely. As you will see in the photos...the mounting end is broken off and gone. There are some tiny nibbles along the interior circle....please see all photos for details.
