Up for sale is an Antique Metal Milk Can. This was the type of Cream container that was delivered to your home.
I do not take good pictures.
Here is what you get for your winning offer:
Made of steel.
Has the original handle still attached to the sides. Very secure.
Has the original lid. It opens with a semi strong pull. And shuts with ease. The handle on the lid is secure.
No huge dents. Just a few dings.
No markings from the GuilfordDairy Company that serviced the Sedgefield area of Greensboro, NC. This came from a famous estate in Greensboro, NC.
NOTE: This estate had Home Delivery during the Great Depression!! I shall share more info with the winner at the end of this sale.
The diameter is 5 3/8\"
The can stands 11\" tall with the handle extended. 9\" with the handle down by the side of the can.
This size makes me think it was used to deliver Cream or Curds.
This will look good in any Kitchen. You can place onto your counter or hang it from a hook.
I do not collect Antique Milk Cans. I have tried to the best of my ability to describe this item to you. Email me with any questions.
Thanks for the visit.
