This children\'s tea service is one of the bestsellers from The World of Beatrix Potter collection by Reutter Porcelain. Presented beautifully in its own pretty fabric carry case, it contains 4 place settings with fabulous images of Peter Rabbit and all his friends.
Tea service case
With gold rimmed and fluted edges, this pretty porcelain tea set is a smaller scale to the large picnic hamper. The set comprises of: four plates, four cups and saucers, tea pot, cream jug, two handled sugar bowl with lid, and four teaspoons.
Each matching cup saucer and plate features a different Beatrix Potter character: Peter and Benjamin, Mrs Rabbit with Flopsy Bunnies and Peter, Jemima Puddleduck, Tabitha Twitchet with Tom Kitten and his sisters.
The tea pot, jug and sugar bowl feature Mrs Rabbit with Flopsy Bunnies and Peter Rabbit.
The case has a curved front, covered and lined with a dense cotton fabric displaying a ruby red floral pattern on cream background, and trimmed with cream old fashioned lace. A brown leather effect strap supports the lid when open, a Velcro backed tab for fastening, and matching carrying handle. The lid contains pouches and loops to secure the plates and spoons A moulded black velour effect base displays the teapot, cups, saucers, jug and sugar bowl.
