Up for sale is a Pioneer SX-950 Reciever . I hooked this unit up to my Kenwood speakers & Sony CD player through the aux input & it sounds great . Nice deep & warm Pioneer sound. At 85 watts per channel this baby has plenty of good power. The problems I see are that the volume seems to be a little scratchy & tries to cut out in certain spots when turning it up & down. I have seen this on other units in the past & simply took them in & had all the switches & pots serviced & cleaned & they all worked great after that was done. I also tried the Tuner & it has no trouble picking up stations loud & clear. However the bracket that holds the antenna is broken & needs replaced, but they are pretty common & inexpensive to find. The cabinet is in my opinion a little rough as you can clearly see from the pictures but this also can be replaced. I have seen new cabinets for sale for this unit right here on . This is a very heavy unit so shipping will be fairly high at $58.80. This being a used & Vintage item I cannot give any Warranties & there will be No Returns . Any questions please ask & I will do my best to answer them. I have a 100% response so offer with confidence. I will have it packed very secure & safe , Good Luck & Happy range: FM, MW
