This quality Cantonese carved part brush pot or taper vase stands 75mm (3\'\') high x 45mm (1.75\'\') across and weighs 43 grams. It is very well carved with figures and pagodas in a rural setting and dates from the the mid to late 1800\'s. It is missing its base and there are two cracks running up the body (photo10&11) and it is structurally sound with a good patina only achieved through genuine age.
